What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, experienced, and enthusiastic person to lead our Capital Projects Team. The team is part of the central business support team, based in Sutton, that delivers services to our schools and college as part of a multi-functional team including finance, human resources, procurement, marketing, and IT.

You will have a track record of delivering complex projects to time and budget within the time limited delivery windows available to us during school and college holiday periods. You will manage estates capital projects ensuring specifications are appropriately scoped in collaboration with our building surveying partners, commissioning partners and school/college leadership teams.

In partnership with our Finance Team, you will liaise and report on the capital and revenue budgets for projects being undertaken, including tracking of expenditure, forecasting and reporting, working to ensure projects are delivered within identified resources.

As an experienced and qualified professional, you will work alongside other internal stakeholders to deliver projects that enhance our learning environments both from a curriculum and non- curriculum perspective. Experience of professional partnerships and relationships as well as significant experience in programme management is essential.
