Senior Catering Assistant job summary

37 hours per week, 7.30am to 3.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8.00am to 3.30pm on Friday, term time only (39 weeks). Grade C – Step 1 - Full Time Equivalent Salary £21,190, Actual Salary £18,174.48.

We are looking someone to join our team in our busy, fast paced kitchen within a large secondary school. Working under the direction of the Catering Manager. The Senior Catering Assistant will prepare, cook and serve nutritional, balanced meals at the correct time in a safe and hygienic environment. Prepare and dismantle eating areas and carry out cleaning duties maintaining high quality standards of health, hygiene and safety.  The successful candidate will ideally have the Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate, although training is available if necessary.
