Senior Design Technology Technician job summary
TTo work with the Design and Technology team to support staff and students in the delivery of effective practical work through the management, maintenance and administration of materials and resources in accordance with the relevant school policies and statutory legislation.
Responsible for co-ordinating the use of practical resources and facilities and providing assistance and advice in meeting the practical needs of the DT curriculum, including liaising with teaching staff and support staff outside the department.

Burton Borough is a vibrant and inclusive mixed Comprehensive School of 1157 students, situated on the Shropshire/ Staffordshire border within the pleasant market town of Newport. We were awarded the Gold Mental Health Award from the Carnegie School of Mental Health in April 2019 and are the first school in England to be recognised by Public Health England for the work we do in this area.
