Diocese of Ely Multi-Academy Trust (DEMAT)

is seeking to appoint a Senior HR Advisor to join our central HR team.

Senior HR Advisor

Payscale: £40,000 - £45,000 per year (+ travel allowance)

35 hours a week, 52 weeks per year (part-time will be considered)

Hybrid - including remote working, central office in Ely and travel to academies within allocated hub each week

Commencing: as soon as possible

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join our friendly, supportive and committed HR team in support of our 39 primary academies.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • have worked in a generalist HR role across all areas of the employee life cycle;
  • have experience of advising on and supporting complex employee relations cases and organisational change;
  • have successfully managed a HR team or function;
  • be highly organised, conscientious and able to set clear priorities when managing a busy workload;
  • ideally have experience and knowledge of an education environment;
  • be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

About Role

As well as managing your own portfolio of academies, this role will act as a key support to the HR Manager in managing a team of three HR Hub Advisors to deliver an exceptional HR service to our academies.
