Senior Inclusion Worker job summary
The role of Senior Inclusion Worker will primarily focus on supporting pupils to access learning within their group, delivering lessons to pupils on a 1:1 basis as required, planning and delivering personalised interventions to develop pupils’ social skills, support their integration into school and securing pupils’ physical, social and emotional wellbeing, whilst raising their self-esteem and encouraging independence.
The role will also involve working collaboratively with pupils, families, referring school staff, professional organisations and agencies across Kirklees to ensure their learning and SEMH needs are fully identified and supported, in line with the SEN Code of Practice.
