- View all Full timejobs - 35 hours per week (Monday 08:30-16:30, Tuesday-Friday 08:30-15:30) plus 1.5 hours (on or off site, as agreed), 39 weeks (term time only plus INSET days)

- Bucks Pay Range 3 £24,310 - £26,295 pro-rata (Actual Salary: £19,506 - £21,538) Plus welcome payment on successful completion of 6 month probationary period

We are seeking someone to join our strong staff team dedicated to supporting children whose needs can be challenging. We are looking for an applicant who will:
- Act as coordinator to other Learning Support Assistants
- Work with individual pupils and groups, under the direction of the class teacher, introducing tasks, monitoring children’s work and using a range of strategies to support their learning
- Maintain high quality safeguarding practice within the school policy
- Observe pupils' performance, and using the systems in place in the school/class, provide the teacher with feedback on pupil progress and help to maintain individual and group records
- Contribute to the planning and evaluation of learning activities for individuals and groups, liaising with and maintaining effective working relationships with colleagues
- Help prepare and maintain a purposeful, orderly and supportive environment for learning
- Provide care with regard to the health and medical needs of pupils
- Draw on specialist skills and knowledge to respond effectively to pupils with special educational needs
- Contribute to the induction programme for newly-appointed Learning Support Assistants and provide mentoring support to trainees on work placements
