Senior Pastoral Leader job summary

In recent years CNS has enjoyed significant success and sustained improvements

that in part related to the quality of pastoral care that has thrived at this school for

many years. In recent years, through the extension and strengthening of pastoral

care, learning support, and teaching and learning, at CNS. In order to build on those

successes and improvements, we now wish to appoint a new pastoral leader.

Our new colleague must be skilled at making students feel engaged and motivated,

senior pastoral leaders work collaboratively with a dedicated, and innovative team,

either a non-teaching Head of Key Stage 3 or a traditional Head of Key Stage Four,

the successful applicant will join a team of three senior pastoral leaders to take care

of two year groups of 175 students.

We expect our senior pastoral leaders to be team players and innovative problem

solvers and to be realistic and ambitious for our children. The title and grading

reflects our wish to employ individuals who can think outside the box and adapt

support to meet the ever changing needs of our students.
