You will be an experienced and qualified HR professional with significant experience of managing employee relations casework. With up-to-date knowledge of employment law, you will be solution-focused, analytical, and able to work in a fast-paced, stakeholder focused environment.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join The Education Alliance’s School Support HR Team in a newly created role.
The Senior People Manager will be responsible for ensuring delivery of a high-quality and effective service across the full spectrum of HR related activities. They will take a particular lead in complex employee relations casework.They will use their experience and expertise to guide leaders and to ensure that robust processes, documents and reporting arrangements are in place to best practice standards; promoting a positive employee relations environment. The successful candidate will work autonomously to deliver a complete HR service to our schools and take a proactive role in supporting HR colleagues across TEAL.
The role will be based at our Teacher Development Centre in Melton; however, you will be required to travel to other TEAL schools to provide support as required.
This is a permanent position working up to 37 hours per week, however we welcome applications on a part-time and/or term-time basis.
The actual annual salary upon appointment with TEAL will be £45,718 per annum FTE.

The Education Alliance Multi-Academy Trust was established in 2015 so that South Hunsley School and Sixth Form College could support the setting up of Hunsley Primary School, the East Riding’s first Free School. In February 2016, Malet Lambert School, an 11-16 school in Hull, joined the trust and the following year, Driffield School and Sixth Form joined as a sponsored academy. The Snaith School, an 11-16 school joined us in April 2019 and North Cave CE Primary School in November 2019. Howden Junior School joined us October 2022 followed by Wilberfoss CE Primary School in May 2023. Howden CE Infant School joined us in September 2023 followed by Naburn CE Primary School who joined on 1 October as a sponsored academy.
In addition to the ten schools, the trust also operates Yorkshire Wolds Teacher Training, the only Outstanding SCITT based in East Yorkshire, which is training a new generation of primary and secondary teachers in East Riding and Hull.
