Senior Playworker - one role morning and afternoon or morning or afternoon
Salary: Grade 2 scale point 3-8 (annual pro-rata salary)
Role: Part-time, 22.5 hours per week over 5 days, Term Time Only
7:15 - 8:45am in the morning
2:45 - 5:45pm in the evening
Contract: Permanent

We are looking for a Senior Playworker to join our friendly team to contribute towards a safe, happy and engaging lunchtime provision.
You will:
- Share our commitment to the values and behaviours at Paganel Primary School.
- Have a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
- Be willing to undergo appropriate checks, including enhanced DBS checks
- Be motivated to work with children and young people
- Have the ability to form and maintain appropriate relationships and personal boundaries with children and young people
- Foster excellent working relationships with colleagues and families
About the role
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Help lead activities. This includes setting up and clearing away equipment.
- To assist with the preparation and serving of the children's breakfasts before school and snacks after school
- Support children in their table manners
- Support children in playing with one another and resolving conflict effectively
- Work as part of the The Paganel team.
- Safeguarding children and young people
