Senior Science Technician or Science Technician job summary
We genuinely believe that North Leamington School (NLS) is a special place. You will be joining NLS to become part of a great team in the Science Department and directly contribute to achieving excellent outcomes for our students.
We are looking to appoint a dedicated, reliable and enthusiastic Senior Science Technician or Science Technician depending upon your experience and qualifications. You will join our friendly team of Technicians who provide support across the Sciences at NLS. You will assist in the day-to-day support of the learning environment, provide technical assistance in the classroom, prepare equipment and materials for lessons, maintain general care and cleanliness of laboratories and prep rooms for Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.
We would love to hear from you if you have:
o A passion for the education of young people and a keen interest in Science
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with people at all levels and ages
o The ability to multi-task effectively and work under pressure
o Meticulous attention to detail
o A flexible and proactive approach
o A clear understanding of safeguarding
o Previous experience as a Technician in a school environment, or similar technical or scientific environment, however this is desirable and not essential
