Main Responsibilities

  • ✏️ Collaborate with teaching staff to assess and assist targeted pupils, developing and implementing personalised action plans.
  • 💬 Provide one-on-one guidance in lessons, offering tailored assistance to help each pupil excel.
  • 🤝 Engage with parents and external agencies to address attendance, behaviour, and academic challenges, ensuring a holistic approach to every pupil’s success.
  • 📊 Track progress and evaluate the effectiveness of action plans, adjusting strategies as needed.
  • 🔄 Facilitate reintegration of pupils who have been suspended, fostering partnerships with organisations that provide additional resources and opportunities.
  • 📈 Oversee alternative provision arrangements, maintain precise pupil data, and contribute to initiatives that strengthen family involvement and community support.
  • 👀 Be an active part of the team that ensures a positive and calm climate for learning by providing a visible presence throughout the school day, responding to and dealing with issues as they arise.
