We have a vacancy for a Senior Teaching Assistant to work as part of the Learning Support Team. The hours will be 8.30 a.m. – 3.30 p.m. with a half hour break for lunch. The successful candidate will have GCSE grade C or equivalent in English and Maths and good skills in ICT. A Level in Science is preferable. This would be an ideal experience for a Science graduate looking for a career in teaching.
The role will involve supporting students with SEN in and outside of their lessons up to GCSE level to ensure that they are able to become successful and independent learners. It would be an advantage if applicants have a particular interest in Science. This role will also involve supporting students with personal care needs.
