Senior Teaching Assistant

We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative colleague to take on the responsibilities of Senior Teaching Assistant. We would especially welcome applications from individuals with experience of, or a particular interest in, supporting positive behaviour.
Within an agreed system of supervision, you will work with teachers to support teaching and learning and provide specialist support to maximise pupil development and achievement.
You will be expected to carry out specified work to develop parental engagement. You may also supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers in unforeseen / unplanned circumstances.
Experience of working in a special school setting is desirable but not essential.
