Senior Teaching Assistant job summary

The main responsibility is to co-ordinate access arrangements across the Academy which includes assessment, implementation and monitoring in line with JCQ regulations. This involves gaining teacher feedback and external reports to determine students’ arrangements needs. Working with external assessors and organising internal and external examinations in line with JCQ regulations.
The candidate will work closely with parents, students, and the teaching and support staff within the academy. The New STA will have line management responsibilities, be organised, meticulous in nature, have good MS Office 365 skills, IT skills and a willingness to undertake further training.
Additional responsibilities may also be included within this role such a Teaching Assistant cover.
