We are looking for someone enthusiastic and energetic to become part of our school family, with a strong sense of pride in their work.
We are a popular, well-resourced and forward thinking school and are seeking to appoint an Assistant Site Agent to assist our friendly premises staff in keeping our school functioning, particularly in the areas of :-
Security of premises
Heating and lighting
High standards of cleanliness and the
Maintenance of premises in good state of repair
Some experience of care-taking duties in a general capacity is desirable, as is basic handy-person skills, the ability to carry out minor repairs (e.g., simple plumbing and joinery skills), together with a flexible, adaptable and co-operative approach is required to contribute positively to the work of the team.
The ability to follow simple instructions and procedures as is some knowledge of Health & Safety, including COSH, or the willingness to undertake the relevant training is required.
We are committed to the professional development of all staff and enjoy working in close partnership with staff, pupils and the local community, therefore the ability to communicate politely and tactfully with others is absolutely essential to this role.
The role is full time but we will also be willing to consider part-time candidates. Usual working hours will be 6.00am -2.30pm
