Site Agent job summary
Hours: 40 Hours per week: 7 30am – 12 30pm and 1pm – 4 pm
5 days per week during term time. (Plus 5 inset days, 3 weeks in the summer holidays and an additional 5 days during half term holidays over the year to be agreed with the Head Teacher)

Main duties
Carry out security responsibilities including acting as a key holder, locking and unlocking, setting alarms, fire procedures, prevention of trespass etc
Carry out DIY and maintenance tasks in respect of minor or temporary repairs, including carpentry, simple electrical and plumbing works and decorating.
Carry out routine checks in accordance with the school’s maintenance schedule and programme.
To move furniture, equipment and set out rooms.
In the absence of the School Business Manager to be the main point of contact and to assume responsibility for the site.
To be aware of and adhere to all school procedures on health and safety, including asbestos procedures.
To be a point of contact for cleaning staff
To carry our cleaning as required
To have the flexibility to open school for lettings outside of school hours as required
To attend relevant training courses where necessary
To maintain confidentiality at all times in respect of school related- matters and to prevent disclosure of confidential and sensitive information.
