A Site Agent is required at Oakgrove School from January 2025. The successful candidate must be able to work as part of an established team and be flexible and adaptable as we are a dual site school. An interest in DIY or maintenance would be an advantage. For this position we are proposing a working pattern of 10am-6pm or 12 midday-8pm Monday to Friday to support the lettings team and the locking up function. There may also be a requirement to work on a Saturday with a swap for a working day during the week. Alternative working patterns may be necessary during the school holidays. The successful candidate must hold a full driving licence and be willing to drive school vehicles including our minibuses.

This role will include but is not limited to:

  • Maintenance of a litter free environment both inside and outside the buildings
  • Attend to the opening and/or closing of the premises at designated times and to be responsible for general security at all times.
  • Report to the Site Manager any defects affecting health and safety of persons on the site and when practicable, make safe and isolate hazards.
  • Provide a porterage service on the site.
  • General maintenance.
  • To maintain an electronic record of compliance checks and maintenance.
  • Be involved with the holiday redecoration and refurbishments.
  • Support the lettings team as required.
  • Escort contractors around the site as required.

Our employees (37 hrs/52 wks) receive 28 days of annual leave plus bank holidays and a generous pension scheme.
