Site Agent job summary
William Austin Junior and Infant schools require a dependable, hard-working and energetic Site Agent to support our Premises Manager. You will be flexible, have a professional attitude with excellent interpersonal skills. The post is varied and involves a wide range of duties including site security, general maintenance and repairs and porterage.
You will need to have drive to ensure our school buildings and site are maintained to a high standard, and supervising the school cleaning staff will also be part of the role.
Flexibility is required in relation to working hours especially during school holidays and absence cover. However, we have a split shift pattern in place so normal working hours will be 10.00am to 6.00pm on four days and 10.30am to 6.00pm on one day.
You would be expected to be available for evening and occasional weekend lettings, for which overtime payments can be claimed.
Following a successful probation period there may be the possibility of a three bedroomed house on the school site being available. This would be a tied tenancy agreement with the school and linked via your contract.
Previous experience of working in a school or similar post would be an advantage but is not essential as training will be given.
