What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking an enthusiastic, positive and motivated individual to be our Site and Estates Officer to work at King’s Hedges Educational Federation.
Pay Scale: Level 5 Points 12 - 17 (£26,421 - £ 28,770 FTE)
Hours: 37 hours per week. General hours will be 7:15am – 3:45pm Monday - Friday.
However, will need to be flexible when contractors are on site and move working pattern where required.
Weeks: 52 weeks per year
This role would be suitable for someone who has experience of working in a school as a caretaker or site manager, or who has experience in project management or maintaining premises.

JOB PURPOSE
To ensure the security, care and availability of the school building, furniture, fittings and equipment. Ensure a satisfactory physical environment with particular emphasis on the provision of cleaning and day to day management of the cleaning staff and to promote the efficient use of the schools’ assets to support the educational objectives of the Federation. To ensure the smooth running of the school at all times.

• Our safeguarding policies and procedures will be explained during your induction and on a regular basis.
• Kings Hedges complies the Childcare Act 2006 and the Childcare (Disqualification) and childcare (Early Years Provision Free of Charge) (Extended Entitlement) (Amendment) Regulations 208. All shortlisted candidates whose role will involve the responsibility for the provision or management of such childcare (including teaching) shall be required to declare that they are not disqualified from undertaking such work.
