Site Assistant job summary

Oak Wood School is looking to appoint a Site Assistant to join our Premises Team looking after our facility operations. We pride ourselves on our excellent high standards and performance and are looking for an individual who will contribute to a successful premises team who support this ethos.

The ideal candidate will contribute to the smooth running of the school by carrying out a range of caretaking and premises management duties including security and supervision of the site along with other caretaking duties including general porterage and maintenance. We are looking for someone who is confident, enthusiastic and ideally (although not essential) has a good knowledge and understanding of Health and Safety Legislation including all aspects of manual handling. Full training will be provided.

Oak Wood School was recently judged as a ‘Good’ school by Ofsted (May 2022) and is truly inclusive, mixed, multi-ethnic 11-18 school that embraces all aspects of comprehensive education.
