Melksham Oak Community School is a large, thriving 11-18 secondary school where students of all abilities, aptitudes and social backgrounds are nurtured, encouraged and challenged to achieve their best.
We couldn’t do what we do without our fantastic staff team, and we are looking for a reliable and efficient Site Assistant to join our team, managing our Secondary School premises to ensure a high standard of maintenance.
As part of your role, you will carry out statutory building compliance tasks, repairs and maintenance to the premises, supporting contractors with planned maintenance, and to ensure a safe environment for our staff and students.

All About You
Do you have what it takes to join us? The Site Assistant we would like to join us will:
Have a hands-on approach and can-do attitude.
Be flexible to cover peak periods.
Have good numeracy and literacy skills.
Have experience of working as a handyperson / caretaker / site manager, ideally in a school or similar environment.
