Site Assistant - Part Time job summary

Salary: NJC Grade D2 Point 4-11 £9,983 - £11,055 per annum

Hours: 15 hours per week, All Year Round (52 Weeks)

We are seeking a reliable and proactive Site Assistantto join our friendly and supportive team at Riverside Primary School. This is a key role in helping to maintain a safe, clean, and secure environment for our pupils, staff, and visitors. Shift patterns may vary between mornings and afternoons.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Site Manager in ensuring that the school buildings, grounds, and extended facilities are well-maintained, secure, and presentable at all times.
  • Support the coordination and implementation of health and safety procedures, ensuring all regulations are met and adhered to across the school site.
  • Contribute to the overall ethos, values, and aims of the school community, working collaboratively with all staff.
  • Responsibility for opening and locking the school premises on a daily basis as the designated key holder.
