We are looking to appoint a Site Agent to join our dedicated and friendly Premises Team. Duties include carrying out basic maintenance, building repairs and keeping the school and grounds clean, safe and tidy. Previous experience of working in a school is an advantage although not essential.

Stopsley High School was identified by the Government as a school that would positively benefit from the Priority School Building Programme. As a result, we opened our state-of-the art new building in 2017. This means that responsibility for the maintenance and life cycle of the building is divided between the school Premises team and the Facilities Management Contract outsourced by the Department for Education. Our School site it split over 3 floors covering 9,826m2. We have extensive external grounds which includes hardstanding playground, sports pitch, football pitch and MUGA

Working hours would follow a shift pattern of:

7am-3pm and 10am to 6pm

The ability to work agreed hours during the evening and weekends to support with lettings would be advantageous.

Why work at Stopsley High School?

Passionate students with enormous potential

Supportive staff who enjoy working collaboratively

A strong commitment to staff wellbeing

Bespoke professional development programmes

A newly built building with state of the art facilities

Excellent public transport and road links to the rest of the UK and Europe

Applications will be considered for interview as they are received.
