Site Assistant job summary
We are looking for a two reliable people to join our site team to ensure ensure that school premises, grounds and its contents are appropriately maintained, cleaned, secured and fit for purpose in line with all relevant legislative requirements.
One post is based at the Magna Carta School, Staines on Thames, and the other at Bishop David Brown School, Sheerwater, Woking.
The successful applicant will have a practical understanding of health and safety, good DIY and/or trade skills, the ability to communicate effectively, be able to prioritise duties and work unsupervised and have a strong teamwork ethic. A clean driving license is desirable.
Site Assistants will be required to work Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week on a rotating shift system. During schools holidays the shifts may be condensed to facilitate specific projects and tasks. Weekend working may also be offered.
