Whitehouse PRU & Bridgeview Special School

Grade 2 - Site Facilities Assistant - 15 hours per week (mornings 6.30 am to 9.30 pm), all year round.

Actual starting salary will be £9590.27 to £9740.67 (FTE £23,656 - £24,027)

We are seeking to appoint a hardworking Site Facilities Assistant at Whitehouse PRU & Bridgeview Special School based at Pickering Road, Hull. Key duties will include:

  • Opening up the school site
  • Gritting and clearing of snow
  • Ensure the outside and general site are kept tidy and free from litter
  • Prompt transfer of deliveries and good to storage areas
  • Help with general tasks around school such a moving furniture and heavy items
  • Monitor and carry out minor repairs, maintenance and redecoration
  • Liaise with contractors

You will

  • Have a can do attitude
  • Be willing and able to practically complete maintenance tasks across the site
  • Be able to carry out DIY
  • Ensure the site presents well, is tidy and compliant

Whitehouse PRU is co-located with the Bridgeview Special School. Bridgeview is a special school for pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs.
