Assistant School Keeper

Grade - Scale 3 (pt 5 - 6)

Actual Salary - £22,575 - £22,983

36 hours per week, full time

24 days p/a annual leave entitlement, increasing to 27 days after 5 years of service

We are looking to appoint a flexible, enthusiastic and energetic school keeper to work in conjunction with our existing Site Team. The successful candidate will be required to undertake a range of school keeper duties. These would include opening and closing of premises, site security, portering, general maintenance, cleaning and assisting staff with site related issues.

You should have a good range of DIY skills such as electrical work, decorating, minor plumbing and carpentry. You will have good communication skills as you will be liaising with contractors and tradesmen as well as students and staff. You should have an awareness of COSHH, safe manual handling practices and Health and Safety

Duties may also include general cleaning, dealing with spillages, blockages, locking and unlocking the sites and any ad-hoc duties as required.

Applicants should be willing to work across the Trust in any of our schools which include The Royal Liberty School, Redden Court School, Sanders Draper School and Rise Park Academies. This list may expand based on any future growth within our Trust.
