Site & Lettings Supervisor (Caretaker) job summary
Core Responsibilities
You will be joining an existing and experienced Facilities and Site team, including in house staff and sub-contractors, led and supported by our in-house Facilities Manager.
Responsibilities will vary from repairs and maintenance of school property and its grounds, ensuring the school premises and site are cleaned to a high standard, porterage of equipment, consumables and furniture, supporting the FM to maintain records and paperwork to ensure a safe and efficient environment and complete regulatory and compliance obligations in relation to health and safety.
You will have responsibility for school keys, master keys and various locks and will be fully aware of the substance of and to contribute to the planning and implementation of emergency evacuation and/or lockdown procedures.
Cover and Out of Hours work
Shift patterns will consist of a shared rota of early and later shifts to allow for the opening and closing times of the school site as well as providing site supervision for out of hours lettings which may include weekend work. This was also include ensuring the school is ready for evening events including parents evenings, school performances and open events.

Pinner High School opened in September 2016 with 150 Year 7 students. We will admit 180 Year 7 students each year; so having 900 Year 7 – Year 11 students. Our onsite sixth form is now open with a full complement of year groups. Alongside this, there are 12 additional places for students with Autistic Spectrum Disorder. Pinner High School is located on Beaulieu Drive, HA5 1NB.
Pinner High School is part of The Harrow Academies Trust, a multi-academy trust established by the seven secular high school academies within Harrow. Our high schools, together with Whitmore High School (which is a community school maintained by Harrow Council), have a strong track record of collaboration, including establishing Sixth Forms, the age-of-transfer that saw Year 7 join high school (instead of middle school), academy conversion in 2011, and establishing The Jubilee Academy (an alternative provision free school) in 2013.
