We benefit from a culturally diverse population and a body of students who are well-motivated, with very high aspirations. Our school revolves around our four core values: Excellence, Inspiration, Resilience and Respect. These are reflected in all that we do and all that we are.

Manor High School is the highest performing school for progress in the local area, and has been for a number of years. This exceptional achievement has been achieved through the hard-work and dedication from all of our staff, and the continuous challenge of our students, whatever their individual starting point.

Our students love school. They have high expectations of their learning experience and we expect the most from them. This is a senior position in the school and a perfect role for someone who takes pride in their work who has a ‘can do’ and proactive attitude. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience of working as a Site or Facilities Manager or act as the lead officer for Health & Safety within a school setting.
  • The ability to use their own initiative with a flexible and adaptable approach to manage the school buildings and grounds, ensuring there is a clean and safe environment for pupils to learn. The site team work across the hours of 5:00 am and 10:30 pm, therefore the Site Manager will need to be flexible within these hours to fully support their team.
  • Passion and commitment to take ownership of, and improve the school along with a desire to be involved in the strategic development of the site.
  • Experience of managing a team and qualifications or substantial experience in more than one craft trade e.g., plumbing, carpentry etc.

We offer

  • A welcoming, friendly, supportive staff who will value your contribution
  • A chance to develop skills and knowledge in a growing organisation

If you are an innovative individual who strives for excellence, we would like to hear from you.
