Site Manager job summary
St Michael's Woolmer Green & All Saints Datchworth schools are looking for a site manager to join our team. Each school is 5 minutes’ drive from each other, and both have the same School Business Manager, both schools working in collaboration. The salary reflects travel times between sites twice per day. Candidates must have own method of transport.
Our new Site Manager will take pride in our schools and ensure that the environment is a safe, clean and tidy and secure environment for children, staff, families and visitors. They will participate fully in all aspects of the life of the school, maintaining good relationships with all stake holders.
This is role is 37 hours per week 52 weeks per year, 24 days holiday to be taken outside of term time. 27 hours at Woolmer Green and 10 hours and Datchworth.
The role will require you to use your initiative, work under pressure and be flexible with a problem-solving approach. Suitable applicants will be skilled and experienced in DIY, have good practical skills and general maintenance ability, and able to use their initiative. There will be an element of lifting and carrying in the role.
You will be liaising closely with the School Business Manager on Health and Safety within the school, ensuring that the school is complying with current legislation/guidelines.
You will be able to prove previous Health & Safety knowledge, have basic computer skills, your own transport and be reliable, competent and trustworthy.
