Full time - 37 hrs per week, 52 weeks, permanent.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, friendly, self-motivated and conscientious Site Manager to join Thorpe St Andrew School and Sixth Form. We welcome applicants with leadership experience working within a caretaker or maintenance role ideally within a secondary school environment at management level. It is essential that applicants have good administrative, communication and ICT skills along with a good understanding of Health and Safety and COSHH regulations.
This is a management role leading the estates caretaking team to ensure the maintenance and statutory compliance for all facilities, buildings and grounds whilst creating a safe, warm and dry environment for staff, students and visitors. Applicants must possess excellent IT skills; demonstrate great attention to detail and organisational skills along with a flexible approach and the ability to lead a team and work independently and as part of a busy team. Personal qualities are of paramount importance and the person appointed will be expected to be approachable, professional, flexible and reliable.
The hours for this post will be 37 hours per week, worked Monday to Thursday 11.00am - 7.00pm and Friday 11.30am - 7.00pm. Please note flexibility is essential to cover team absence and support school events as required.
