Site Manager job summary
The
Governors are seeking to appoint a proactive, highly motivated, reliable and flexible
candidate who would like to be part of a hard-working and supportive team. The
successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills collaboratively working
within the school community including with pupils, staff, parents/carers and
visitors. You will be highly organised, have excellent DIY and practical skills
and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety throughout
the site and premises.
Working as part of the premises team you will have a range of duties including site security, be a trustworthy key holder, opening and preparing the site each day. You will be responsible for the maintenance of the site, decorating, cleaning, upkeep of the outside areas, health and safety along with managing service contracts and the supervision of contractors on site. The postholder will manage a number of service contracts with external providers ensuring that a high level of quality and compliance is achieved.
Staff are based at an individual school however they are contracted to work for the Academy Trust therefore may be required to work at either Warren Wood or Aegir Academy should the need arise.
