We currently have the following vacancy for a member of Site Staff, based at Longspee Secondary in Bournemouth, a specialist SEND provision. This will be a multi-site role, primarily across the SEND sector but also providing support as necessary across our Primary and Secondary Academies.

The post holder will work closely with Principals, Senior Leadership Team, Site Managers and Trust Senior Management as necessary, assisting with all aspects relating to maintenance, health and safety and security of Academy premises.

You will carry out a full range of duties to ensure accommodation is fit for purpose and available as required.

Experience in property maintenance across a broad range of tasks, a keen eye for detail and an organised approach is essential to ensure our students are learning in environments that are engaging whilst functionally safe.

The successful candidate will be passionate about providing an excellent learning environment for the community we support.

The postholder will need to have a flexible approach to hours to be worked but primarily, hours are likely to be around 10am -6pm / 12pm-8pm on a 37 hours per week basis.

Key responsibilities will include:

Ensuring preventive and corrective maintenance tasks are efficiently completed.

Conducting regular inspections and identifying maintenance needs.

Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Use of compliance software system.

The postholder will need:

Experience in facilities management in a similar role.

Strong technical and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication skills.
