What skills and experience we're looking for

* A good standard of education in both English and Maths

• Commitment to and a clear understanding of health and safety

• Experience of working to COSHH regulations

• Experience in a general maintenance role

• Good knowledge of moving and handling techniques

• Good ICT skills and a willingness to develop ICT knowledge and skills

• Awareness and understanding of basic safety and security measures

• Excellent organisational skills, including planning and time management

• Flexibility and the ability to work calmly and quickly under occasional pressure

• Resourcefulness and the ability to multitask and prioritise

• Ability to work well as part of a team

• A passion for quality, coupled with integrity and optimism

• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, with the ability to deal confidently with a wide range of people

• Ability to relate well to children and adults

• Strong DIY skills

• Commitment to the ethos of the academy/Trust

• Flexibility of approach, adapting to workloads and staffing levels

• Flexibility of working hours to meet the needs of the academy
