What skills and experience we're looking for

Northern Education Trust, The Blyth Academy is seeking to appoint a site supervisor.The post holder is responsible for ensuring that the academy is well-maintained, safeand secure site for all users. The main responsibilities will include the opening and locking up of the school, grounds maintenance, whole site checks, gritting, litter picking, maintenance work within the school, fire alarm and water checks; maintaining records of regular checks undertaken and general cleaning of whole site. You will monitor and manage all contractors on site, ensuring all health and safety requirements are met.

Salary amounts quoted are from the 1 September to 31 August and therefore if you commence employment part way through the academic year they are subject to an equated salary adjustment

Please note:the post holder will be engaging in regulated activity, working mainly or wholly with children. This position is exempt from the rehabilitation of offender’s act 1974. It is an offence to apply for this role if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children.
