Sixth Form and Data Administrator job summary
Northampton International Academy are looking for an experienced Sixth Form Administrator who would also have a Data Administrator role and be responsible for supporting the management of the Academy’s Management Information System (SIMS). NIA enjoys an excellent working environment with the Sixth form located on the top floor. They are a vibrant and diverse community and the successful candidate would play a key role in co-ordinating support for them as well as providing high quality data administration support for the entire academy. It doesn’t end there!!, we are looking for someone who wants to take things to the next level with the potential for this role to grow with the right person
To be successful in this rewarding role, you will need to be extremely well organised, have the ability to prioritise work and ensure that strict deadlines are met. Excellent IT skills and experience of using school information systems, ideally SIMS. The ability to work on your own initiative and work within existing teams is essential. Candidates should have excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with both adults and young people alike. They will able to remain calm in a busy environment whilst maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Northampton International Academy is part of the East Midlands Academy Trust, it is an all through school, 4–19, and opened in September 2016. In July 2019, the academy achieved an Ofsted rating of Good.
It is a fantastic time to join NIA as it continues to grow. We will have a full secondary phase as well as further groups in the primary phase and by 2021 the school will have over 2000 pupils. This will make NIA one of the largest free schools in the country.
