Sixth Form Aspiration Lead job summary
Beckfoot Trust Sixth Form is a key driver for social mobility in our schools, our aim is to ensure every student has access to opportunities that will give them firm foundations for the next stage in their educational career. Our UCAS programme is already very good in all three of our sixth forms, it needs further co-ordinating, developing and earlier roll out within and across our schools. The successful candidate will also provide much needed capacity for CEIAG across the Sixth Form.
Similarly we have some excellent practice regarding Oxbridge and similar aspirational destination applications, again though we want this developed and a commitment to early identification of talent from the very early years in our Trust Primary schools. In the first instance this will be through the introduction of an EPQ programme for yr 12 students. This is an exciting opportunity to help further secure Beckfoot Trust’s values in making a difference for the young people of Bradford.
