Sixth Form Student Support Officer job summary
In this varied role you will manage the use of the Sixth Form study areas with specific focus on attendance and supporting individual students. This will include maintaining discipline and good behaviour in the Durning Room study area. You will also perform a variety of administrative tasks. You will be part of an established Sixth Form team working alongside other Student Support Officers to ensure the smooth running of all aspects of sixth form life.
You must have excellent communication skills and proven experience of working with or interacting with young adults. Ideally you will be First Aid trained or willing to be trained.
The role is 18 hours per week, term time only. Working days will be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 8.30 am to 3 pm.
