Hours: 12.5 hours per week

Salary: Actual £5,838.78 per annum (Full Time Equivalent £20,258)

Contract: Permanent, Term Time only

Location: St Ursula's E-ACT Academy

We know just how important it is to think big and to help break those glass ceilings faced by young people today. Together we can encourage our pupils to step out from their comfort zones, build self-esteem and broaden their horizons.

Our well established team of lunchtime supervisors play a key role in ensuring that our children have happy, safe lunchtimes. We need candidates to join us in supporting the children to have fun whilst also promoting good behaviour. We have two contracts available, one permanent and one maternity cover. We require the successful candidates to work 12.5 hours per week, commencing employment as soon as possible once onboarding processes have been completed.

The role involves some light physical duties such as setting up tables and tidying up after the lunch service which are organised on a rota basis, helping children with their eating and encouraging good manners. The rest of the time is spent in the playground, engaging children in safe play which could involve some one to one support.

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate a calm, caring approach and an interest in working with children. Good time keeping and the energy needed to work well as part of a team are vital. In return, you will join a welcoming, supportive team in a school with a vision for providing outstanding learning for all.

For a full description of the role, see the job description and job specification. We encourage you to get in touch with any questions, and we warmly welcome academy visits (please contact the academy directly to arrange a visit).
