Senior Higher Level Teaching Assistant – Apprenticeship Assessor (Curriculum)
Initially 21 hours a week increasing to full time Monday – Friday 35 hours, term time only
P/T £15,548 plus £719 SEN allowance, F/T £25,914 plus £1,198 SEN allowance
(Pay award pending)
September start.
Working with Apprenticeships team you will support the Apprenticeships Manager with the progress and assessment of Level 3, 4 & 5 apprenticeships. Experience of developing learning materials is desirable to enable you to write the curriculum for new apprenticeship courses. You will also support, coach, monitor and assess learners to successfully complete and pass their apprenticeship.
You must be educated to degree level or have equivalent relevant experience together with excellent numeracy and literacy skills (minimum of Level 2 in English and Maths or equivalent or working towards).
You will need a car and business insurance.
This role is initially 21 hours/3 days per week increasing to full time, 35 hours a week as the service grows.
You must also:
- Meet the person specification
- Have experience and/or a keen interest in Apprenticeships
- Have good communication skills
- Be able to meet key accountabilities set out in Job Description
- Be able to use ICT effectively
- Have good organisational skills
