Social and Emotional Mental Health LSA - Level 2 job summary
We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join us in our pledge to deliver our very special blend of 'terrific’ in our year old Social, Emotional and Mental Health Resource Provision, which sits alongside our existing PD Resource Provision as part of our proud commitment to inclusion and wellbeing for all.
Information about the role:
Following one of our team gaining an exciting opportunity in young people’s Primary Mental Health work, we have a vacancy for an LSA who will specialise in Social and Emotional and Mental Health:
1) Working as part of a passionate and dynamic team in our resource provision to support Noadswood students with their social, emotional and mental health needs, the successful candidate will also work with teaching colleagues to foster excellent learning, wellbeing and inclusion, providing care, support and interventions with students in both a specific base and in a range of classroom and other learning settings.
2) The successful candidate will also be part of a strong, experienced team of LSAs across the wider school to provide support to all those who have an Education, Health and Care Plan in our school.
3) The successful candidate will benefit from supervision, from bespoke, specialist professional learning and from our whole staff CPD and induction programmes.
