What skills and experience we're looking for
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Social, Emotional and Mental Health Manager (SEMH) at Frome College to lead, coordinate, deliver and evaluate a range of interventions which support SEMH students, including Looked After students, ensuring student engagement, access to learning and improved outcomes is facilitated for all SEMH students. The post holder will have day to day operational management of Child Protection cases and line mange the Pastoral Team.
Candidates will need to demonstrate the following
- good line management, administration, organisational and problem-solving skills
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to provide advice and guidance to staff in SEMH
- good literacy and numeracy skills, with the ability to implement and evaluate systems as well as analyse data
- IT literate and a sound working knowledge of Microsoft packages
- ability to engage positively and successfully with all young people, working flexibly both in 1:1 & group settings
