What skills and experience we're looking for

We are currently looking to appoint a Lead Practitioner for SEMH at Court Fields School to work in conjunction with our SENCO and Designated Safeguarding Lead, to lead the provision of intervention programmes for students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, planning and delivering our graduated response for SEMH, ensuring that our team of TAs are well equipped to provide effective support and enabling students to maintain an appropriate level of progress within their learning.

Essential requirements of the posts are that applicants must:

  • Previous experience of supporting students with SEMH needs in education or another field.
  • Be enthusiastic, driven and committed to supporting our school’s future success.
  • Have a commitment to improving the life chances of young people.
  • Be able to work as part of a friendly and supportive team.
  • Be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Have a commitment to professional development and training.
