Sociology/Health and Social Care Teacher job summary
We are seeking to appoint a Teacher of Sociology and Health and Social Care who demonstrates passion for their subject as well as a commitment to improving student outcomes. The successful candidate must be able to teach Sociology in KS4 and KS5 and BTEC Health and Social Care Level 2 and Level 3.
Committed to raising attainment, you will have the ability to motivate students and help develop engaging and inspiring curriculum in Sociology across all key stages. We pride ourselves on our commitment to ensuring pupils achieve their full potential and push themselves beyond their comfort zones. With a good subject knowledge and a love of teaching we are looking for someone who is able to teach Sociology at both GCSE and A Level.
The well-established and successful Health and Social Care department offers BTEC Level 1/Level 2 First Extended Certificate in Health and Social Care, BTEC Level 3 National Extended Certificate in Health and Social Care, and BTEC Level 3 National Foundation Diploma in Health and Social Care.
There is also the possibility that you may be asked to teach a little English.
