Would you like to use your dual language skills to teach highly motivated students in a welcoming and supportive environment? We are looking to appoint a teacher of Spanish and French who has the subject knowledge and desire to inspire our extremely engaged, articulate and diverse student body. The school greatly values the contribution that the study of languages brings to its curriculum offer and to the all-round development of the students, helping them flourish as global citizens.
The Spanish and French departments are enthusiastically committed to providing students with the opportunity to become highly confident, culturally literate users of both languages. Teachers carefully plan lessons and resources that place a special emphasis on the development of grammatical knowledge and accuracy, as well as the practice of productive language skills in an exciting and challenging manner. Our departments encourage teachers to embrace creativity and to work collaboratively. Both languages are ably supported by specialist Foreign Language Assistants.
Newly qualified teachers are very welcome to apply - we support the development of new teachers through an excellent NQT training programme and the languages departments are very supportive in their approach.
