Why choose Dixons Newall Green?

Dixons Newall Green Academy will be a newly established secondary free school located in the Wythenshawe district of Manchester, England. The school will open its doors to Year 7 students in September 2023, and will grow year by year until it serves students aged 11 to 16 by 2027. The school's existing site, which was previously Newall Green High School, will undergo extensive renovation to ensure a modern and conducive learning environment for students.

This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a culture of success from the ground up, through the implementation of strict and fair protocols, a relentless focus on results, and the provision of exceptional teaching and support.

As a member of the Dixons Newall Green community, you will have access to the following:

  • The incorporation of the best practices from succesful academies within the Dixons Academies Trust, as well as those from other schools, both domestically and nationally
  • A values-driven approach to education, with a clear vision and a focus on results, strict routines, and strong relationships at all levels
  • Weekly coaching opportunities to support professional growth
  • A focus on staff wellbeing and organisational health
  • The opportunity to shape and cultivate the school's culture from its inception
