We have an exciting opportunity to join our successful, vibrant school community as a

Spanish Language Assistant
(Temporary contract to 19th July 2022)

Start Date – As soon as possible

12 hours per week (Monday to Wednesday. The times to be confirmed with successful the candidate), 38 weeks per year (term time only)

Hourly rate - £13.08
(equivalent to a Range 2 role (BCC Support Staff Pay Scale. This rate includes and uplift of 13.04% in lieu of annual leave).

We are seeking to appoint a Spanish Language Assistant to join our thriving Modern Languages Faculty. The successful candidate will be a native Hispanic speaker with a keen interest in promoting Spanish language and culture. The Spanish Language Assistant will assist in A Level classes providing opportunities for conversation practice related directly to topics (contemporary and historical issues). Applicants must be educated to degree level and demonstrate a keen interest in working with young learners. Some teaching experience is desirable but not essential.
