What skills and experience we're looking for
The successful candidate will have:
- A proven ability to deliver the highest standards of teaching and learning for all pupils, including those with specialist or SEMH need-A proven record of raising progress and attainment for pupils with SEND
- An ability to plan strategically and build on existing quality practice
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum and SEND Code of Practice
- The knowledge and experience to provide professional guidance to colleagues and to work closely with staff, parents and other agencies
- The National SENCo Award or a willingness to complete it
