What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, skilled and committed SENCO to join our SEN team and work alongside our current SENCO. Offering an exciting opportunity for career development, we welcome applications from both experienced and aspiring SENCOs. Whilst experience in a secondary school environment would be an advantage, we also welcome applications from those with SENCO experience from a primary background.

St George’s Academy is a large, successful, 11-18 mixed secondary school of 2,359 students (including 312 in the sixth form and 518 on our Ruskington Campus) with outstanding facilities in all areas. The Academy serves Sleaford, Ruskington and the surrounding Lincolnshire villages.
We are a leading member of the Sleaford Joint-Sixth Form (SJSF), a collaboration of the co-educational sixth forms of St George’s Academy and the Robert Carre Trust. The SJSF provides a full range of post 16 courses for over 700 students and is a beacon of educational provision across Lincolnshire.
