Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) job summary
Faringdon Community College is seeking to appoint a passionate, proactive SENCO to champion our children and lead SEND provision in our inclusive, forward thinking community school. SEND at FCC
The Bridge (FCC’s SEN department) is well staffed, well-resourced and located in the heart of our school. The Bridge benefits from a number of teaching and intervention spaces to support a range of learners and needs. Our caring, committed and skilled team consists of two Inclusion Managers and a SEND administrator, as well as a counsellor, EBBSA provision, ELSA, three Literacy intervention TAs, one Numeracy intervention TA and 8 FTE Grade 4 TAs. The SENCo will also have the support of our Assistant Headteacher Inclusion Champion as line manager.
