What skills and experience we're looking for

- We are looking for a qualified teacher with a minimum of three years’ experience, the NASENCO qualification, or working towards completing this qualification, who has a passion for supporting the learning of children with SEN and the drive to make sure that all children make great progress.

- Developing and implementing policies and procedures for identifying and assessing special educational needs.

- Coordinating the provision of support for pupils with special educational needs and disabilities.

- Liaising closely with parents, outside agencies, and other professionals to ensure that the needs of pupils with special educational needs and disabilities are met.

- Supporting the school in ensuring that it meets its statutory obligations under the SEND code of practice.

- Taking an active role within the schools Senior Leadership Team (SLT)
